COOKIES

No personal data of users is acquired by the website in that regard. No use of cookies is made for information of a personal nature; persistent cookies of any nature or systems for tracking or profiling users are not used. The website only uses “technical cookies”.

Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “making the transmission of a communication on an electronic communication network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of a service of the information society explicitly requested by the member or user to provide that service” (c.f. Art. 122, Paragraph 1 of the Dlgs. 196/2003).

They are not used for other purposes and are installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. They may be subdivided into browsing or session cookies, which guarantee normal browsing and use of the website (allowing, for example, users to log in so as to access reserved areas); cookie analytics, assimilated to technical cookies where used directly by the manager of the website to collect information, in aggregated form, on the number of users and on how these visit the website itself; function cookies, which allow users to browse based upon a series of selected criteria (for example, language) in order to improve the service provided to the same. For the installation of those cookies, the prior consent of the users is not required, while the obligation to provide the information in accordance with Art.13 of the Regulation remains in place. The use of session cookies (which are not stored in a persistent manner on the user’s computer and disappear upon closing the browser) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers required to allow for safe and efficient exploration of the website. The session cookies used on this website avoid the use of other computer techniques potentially prejudicial to browsing confidentiality by users and do not allow for the acquisition of personal identification data of the user.

Third Party Technologies and Cookies

This website uses the external web analysis service provided by Google Analytics, which uses Javascript technology to allow the website to analyse how users use the website. Google Analytics mainly uses proprietary cookies to generate reports on the interactions of visitors with the websites. These cookies are used to store information that does not allow for the personal identification of users. Data controller is extraneous to the operations of “third party cookies”, whose functioning falls under the liability of those third parties. The information generated on use of the website by users (including their IP addresses) is sent and stored on the servers of Google Analytics. Google Analytics will use this information with the aim of tracking and examining use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities for operators of the website and to provide other services relating to the website activities and use of the Internet. Google Analytics can also transfer this information to third parties where this is required by law or where those third parties process the aforementioned information on behalf of Google Analytics. You can find the respective Privacy Policy at the address: https://support/google.com/analytics. The site owner choose the option to not retain the last byte of IP address.

Management of Cookies: Consent to Respective Use

Deleting cookies does not prevent use of the website.  Users/visitors may set the computer browser in such a way as to accept/refuse all cookies or to display a notice each time a cookie is proposed, to be able to assess whether or not to accept it.

There are, for that purpose, components (plug-ins) for the most popular browsers that allow for:

  • the management (display, deletion, block) of cookies
  • the disabling of Javascript pages of third parties
  • the display of technologies used by the website
  • the display and block (selective) of different tracking mechanisms

By default, almost all web browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. You can, however, change the set configuration, which, with browsers (such as, for example Internet Explorer version 6.0) is the medium one, and you can disable cookies (i.e. block them), setting, in the appropriate section (“Privacy”), the highest level of protection (Very High), but we inform you that disabling them may compromise use of the website functions.

In any case, you have the possibility to delete (or remove) cookies from your personal computer, using the special function present on your browser. Deleting cookies does not prevent use of the website, but involves the repetition of the authentication procedure, or the re-entry of your access credentials.

If you want to decide each time whether or not to accept cookies, you can also configure your browser so that it generates a notice each time a cookie is saved.

In addition, there are components (plug-ins) for the most popular browsers that allow for:

  • the management (display, deletion, block) of cookies
  • the disabling of Javascript pages of third parties
  • the display of technologies used by the website
  • the display and block (selective) of different tracking mechanisms
